Incase you want to tackle the larger obstacles
Kawasaki has integrated a hand lever that operates
the variable front differential control which
allows you to distribute torque equally to left
and right front tires for the perfect amount of
traction. With 4wd engaged and the front differential
locked, there is a noticeable amount of steering
effort required. When rock crawling, the Teryx
is able to maneuver over obstacles with ease as
it combines the widen stable stance, meaty tires,
excellent 11.3 inches of ground clearance and
7.5 inches of travel front and rear. Deep washes
and large jumps are all made enjoyable thanks
to the well employed suspension of the Teryx.

TERYX 750 was very stable in the air with
its low center of gravity and central
engine placement. The Teryx weight distribution
is equally balanced, so it glided fairly
flat and the system worked awesome in
                                        absorbing the landing |

Stopping the Teryx was not an issue with the
use of massive 200mm front discs combined with
27mm twin piston calipers, and its first in
class sealed multi-disc rear brake. The sealed
rear brake is a great feature on the Teryx giving
it significantly increased brake life with no
sign of the brakes fading. This is accomplished
by completely bathing the rear discs in oil
to keep it cool while also minimizing noise.
However on decent from the trails the engine
braking in high gear was deficient. It did not
give any noticeable slowing until you shifted
the Teryx into low range, where the engine brake
                                  really made a difference.
With a full test complete we were very happy
with what Kawasaki has brought forth. A great
power plant with endless possibilities, well
tuned and capable suspension that doesn’t
need to be replaced for the majority of riders
and a solid, well constructed frame ready for
abuse. Let’s not forget the low base price
of $9,699.00 for the standard model, or $10,399.00
for the LE model. It will be real hard to pass
the Kawasaki Teryx up for anything else on the
                                  market.
