The 450MXR comes standard with FOX racing podium
X piggy back compression adjustable shocks in the
front which provide 10” of wheel travel were
as the 525S comes standard with FOX podium non reservoir
shocks in the front that also allow for 10“

reduce if not eliminate bump steer. The Pro steering
system works by moving the pivot point of the tie
rods closer to the pivot point of the A-arms allowing
both the tie rods and a-arms to move in the same arc.
The Rear suspension consists of an all new no link
swing arm solid axle design that measures 47”

525S(left) & Outlaw 450MXR(right) |
Engine:
The Outlaw 525 S and the Outlaw 450MXR engines are
identical in every way except for the bore size. They
both are powered by a powerful KTM built engine. The
525 S actually measures 510cc and the 450MXR measure
448cc, which is only a 62cc difference between the
pair. Each engine comes with electric start and five
speed transmission with reverse. Fuel is delivered
by the industry leading 39mm Keihin FCR carburetor,
this carburetor is equipped with TPS (throttle position
sensor) which allows the CDI unit to adjust the timing
for maximum power output. Air is fed to the carburetor
through a newly designed compact air box that features
a high flow foam filter and a high flow vented air
box lid.

Controls:
The Outlaw models all come standard with steel braded
brake lines and dual piston front calipers. The easy
to use front hydraulic parking brake is set by squeezing
the front brake lever and actuating the lever stop.
The clutch system is a Magura hydraulic unit that provides
a light consistent pull along with a lever that is adjustable
for reach. The reverse gear is engaged via a convenient
right side thumb operated lever. Reverse can be engaged
by pulling the clutch lever in while in first gear,
press the reverse thumb lever, and depress the shift
lever down into reverse.
Drive:
The Outlaw models both come standard with Maxxis Razr
tires. The 525S utilizes a 21x7x10 Maxxis Razr PR
front and a 20x11x9 Maxxis Razr PR rear. The Outlaw
450MXR utilizes a smaller 20x6x10 Maxxis Razr MX on
the front and a 18x10x9 Maxxis Razr MX on the rear.
In an effort to further the durability of the drive
system of the Outlaws Polaris uses Douglas yellow
label rolled edge rim on all for corners of each of
the models. Power is delivered to the rear wheels
through a 520 O-ring chain. Polaris has made chain
adjustment easy by utilizing a round housing eccentric
bearing carrier.
