Casto Canyon ATV Adventure Ride - Bryce, Utah

There were several spots along the trail that run you through dry rocky creek beds. Although these creek beds are dry during most of the year you have to check the weather before traveling down the Casto Canyon trail as local rains may turn the dry creek beds into fast flowing creek in minutes.

As I looked up at the red sandstone cliffs, I found many caves and natural arches that formed through thousands of years of erosion.
Casto Canyon is very similar to the valley floor of Bryce Canyon as I got experience hiking Bryce Canyon for almost 6 hours the day after our ride. The most spectacular thing about Casto Canyon is that it is much a little Bryce Canyon with the famous red hoodoos jetting up skyward.

“It is very unusual for the land management agency to have a motorized trail in an area that the scenery is as outstanding as this one is. It is like being able to ride through Bryce Canyon National Park. It is a little Bryce Canyon is what it is. They have done a great job of building and maintaining the trail and access for ATV riders” said Bob Wallen with Utah Arizona ATV Club.
If you are an ATV enthusiast the Casto Canyon Trail is definitely one to add to your bucket list. With so many trails to check out around the area you can plan a full week of riding and never see the same trail twice.
