Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area SxS / UTV Adventure Ride Part 1
::Continued::

Knowing that I would have even more troubles taking the widened Teryx down the trail, I took the safe route and found a different trail that bypassed the rock ledge.

Sometime after taking the UTVs rock crawling, we found an incredible spot to stop and take photos. We found a random set of large rocks in the middle of the Dunes that you could drive in between.

The contrasting colors of the red sandstone rocks and salmon colored sand made the backdrop very intriguing.  After finishing a great photo shoot we headed back out in the dunes.

There are many places on top of the ridge to stop and take in the scenery. The riding area on top of the cliffs gives you a nice aerial view of the valley below, mountain ridges in the distance, and even the Sand Hollow Reservoir.

Sand Hollow State Park also features Sand Hollow Reservoir that offerings fishing, camping & other water sports activities

We did find one hill that we did not want to try with the side-by-sides that we climbed by foot that overlooked the valley for miles. Below we could see a fenced off area were a few cars were parked. We thought it was kind of odd that cars were parked there, but little did we know that what we were looking down upon was a protected area of the park that has fossilized dinosaur prints that we would later discover the next day!
