Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area SxS / UTV Adventure Ride Part 1
::Continued::

It’s pretty amazing to think that millions of years ago there were different plants and animals walking around in the same area. Some of the terrain on top of the ridge reminded me of something from a movie set. The terrain was so diverse, one minute you would be slowly rock crawling through lava deposits, the next you would be climbing a tall sand dune.

Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area covers over 16,000 acres of ATV & SxS riding paradise in St. George, Utah

As the sun began to set, we took our best guess in which direction we came from and started to head back. On our journey back, we found a sandy section of trails that zigzagged between some very tall plants. As the trail made its way through the brush there were many natural sand berms you could rail and hills that you could huck some air on!

It was actually one of most fun trails we found and the timing was just right, as the daylight started to slip away. As if by plan, Harlen’s internal GPS unit in his head directed us straight back to where we first climbed the hill up on top of the ridge. As soon as we hit the pavement we had to flip-on the headlights on as we headed back to Fasst. Co.

With its very diverse terrain & beautiful landscape Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area is one of our favorite riding areas in the US

Our exciting day of riding would come to an end as we told what seemed like endless stories of our day trip to Fasst. Co. co-owner Chris Tidwell.  After having an incredible ride experience on top of the ridge at Sand Hollow we decided to call up Dax Snow and check in.

To our luck, Dax was willing to lend us the side-by-sides once again the next day so we could check out the bottom valley of Sand Hollow.  Stay tuned for Sand Hollow State Park : Part 2 where we explore the valley and desert floor of Sand Hollow State park!
