Extreme Dirt Track Racing Pro Report
::Continued::

The Pro class was another story for Brad Riley. “The start was very important and the key for the night. The track was pretty one line, and I knew I had to get out front if I planned on winning,” said Riley, who grabbed the Pro holeshot.

Riley was looking good, but he was immediately under pressure from Michael Coburn. “My MAXXIS Tires / Rekluse Clutch / DASA engine just got the power to the ground and got me off to a great start, and I started picking away at the laps. I missed a gear in a few turns and Coburn hit me a couple times, but we had a pretty good race!” said Riley.

Despite the pressure, Riley was able to keep Coburn behind him and take home his first Pro win of the season. “My Victory Motorsports machine with the MAXXIS Tires and Rekluse Clutch just worked great. Everything was working awesome along with the PEP suspension got me out front and I put the hammer down and kind of just ran my own race and I knew I didn’t have to be the fastest guy out there because it was so hard to pass but I started pulling away and got my cushion and kept it out front,” said Riley.

Michael Coburn is one of the toughest competitors in the series and put in a great effort. Coburn was second off the start and put the pressure on Brad Riley right away. Coburn and Riley tangled a couple of times when Riley slowed due to a mistake, but Coburn ultimately settled for a second place finish in the pro class.

“I got off to a good start and was second out of the holeshot. I was hoping for first but second worked too. I had a good race going, and I just wanted to thank everyone that came out, Kaylee, Brad and Lisa, my parents, and everyone else that helped out, Harold and Rage for doing my motors, everything ran really good today and the past race,” said Coburn.

Chuckie Creech was on the box for the second time that night, taking third in the Pro class.
