In the 9th Spot is Ryan Lane. Ryan who? Exactly.
The super quiet rider Pro ATV Rookie from Bicknell,
Indiana has been putting in impressive runs race
after race, posting five top 10 finishes with
his best finish to date coming at round 8 at Yadkvinville
where he took 4th!
Ryan Lane has been getting faster and faster
while he capitalized on the series superstars
misfortunes. The issues others have had have
been avoided by Lane and he has taken his riding
to another level and its starting to catapult
him into the hierarchy of the XC1 upper echelon!
Riding as a privateer and doing this well should
have companies giving him a ring to see about
his plans for the second half of the season
and for 2009!

Rounding out the Top 10 is another top privateer,
the 20 year old, Jarrod McClure, who has really
made his presence known in his sophomore year
in the Pro Class. Entering the 2008 season he
had a lot more confidence in his machine and racing
program, but once he hooked up with professional
trainer, Marc Spataro from Moto Pro Training,
he has been on fire. McClure has earned two 5th
place finishes and along with a career first Podium
finish at Yadkinville.
Unfortunately, two rounds with mechanical issues
has set him back to 9th place in points, but
he has been training hard all summer long, which
included racing in the WORCS Series, where he
finished and impression 2nd place on a Suzuki
LT-R450 at
Straddeline ORV Park. McClure is determined
to capitalize on the final rounds of the season
as the track become tighter and more technical.
