Kyle
Chaney Clinches GNCC XC1 Pro UTV Championship
::continued::
Mouse Pratt's third-place effort was enough to
land him fourth for the season in the GNCC Pro
XC1 UTV class. “This will definitely give me momentum
going into next year,” said Pratt. “With the way
these boys are running this year, fourth in points
is good. These guys are super fast out here. So
I just had to drive fast and take chances.”

Turnkey UTV’s Kyle Chaney’s 2015 Championship
came on the merit of three-straight victories
early in the season, finished off with his fourth-place
effort at the Ironman GNCC. Chaney got the holeshot,
but guided by co-pilot Chris Bithell, he ran a
conservative pace to protect his points lead.

“I settled for a fourth place,” said Chaney.
“I’d have liked to be on the podium today, but
my co-pilot Chris Bithell talked to me and helped
me settle into getting the championship. The Can-Am
Maverick is the best woods machine…period.”

to a 4th place finish with the GNCC Racing
UTV championship on the line

“Any time you win a championship in UTV racing,
it’s tough,” added Chaney. “The competition everywhere
you go is stiff. It’s not like it used to be.
You used to be able to come out with a stock car
and dominate. Now you have to come out and be
prepared. I don’t know if I was the fastest guy,
but I was the most prepared.”
