2nd in the points championship

“The course was great: It flowed really well,
it was super-fast, and a lot of fun,” said Hendershot
Jr. “It was a more wide-open type track, and I’m
more of a technical driver. It didn’t suit my
style, but I had a lot of fun out there. I just
drove a little tight and was a little two cautious.
We’re pretty excited about a second in points
this year.”
Racer Tech’s John Yokley put on a show for his
sixth-place finish. After starting on the fifth
row next to his Uncle, William Yokley, he drove
through the field to net the top 10.

even afer starting on the fifth row

“I was happy to put this race together and finish
on the Polaris 900s,” said John Yokley. “We’re
looking forward to next year. We’re going to be
running the new 1000S. William and I hooked up
for a few laps, but it’s just hard to catch up
to the frontrunners when you start on the fifth
row.”
Treavis Poynter made his debut with Bikeman Performance
Team in a Polaris RZR after missing the last round
of racing, and finished seventh at the Ironman.
Poytner also finished seventh in the points championship
after holding the points lead after the first
two rounds of racing.

new Bikeman Performance Polaris RZR ride
to finish seventh

“We came out here, dropped into the driver’s
seat, and it was just awesome,” said Poynter.
“To hop into a brand new car and run up front
says a lot for the machine and for Bikeman Performance.
I can’t even explain how much fun we had today.
We just had a blast.”
William Yokley was right on Poynter’s tail in
eighth after starting on the fifth row. “The machine
is good and has been all year long, but when you
start that far back, by the time I got up with
the leaders I didn’t have enough for the win,”
said William Yokley. “The competition is just
so stiff out here. The Polaris 900s works really
well and we’re happy to finishing.”
