                                Crawfordsville, IN (11/3/2015)
                              - JB Racing’s Tim Farr won his second consecutive
GNCC XC1 Pro UTV race at Ironman Raceway. Farr came
out atop a battle with Bill Patterson to net the
victory, his third straight at the Ironman GNCC.
Can-am’s Mouse Pratt finished third, ahead of Kyle
Chaney, whose fourth-place finish handed him his
second-straight GNCC UTV championship. Larry Hendershot,
Jr. rounded out the top five.

 | With cold and overcast conditions and forecast
for heavy rains, racers were prepared for a muddy
race. However, the rain never really showed, and
the track was fast with very little mud or dust,
allowing for a close and competitive race. Can-am’s Tim Farr took the early lead in the
race and looked to be ready for the easy victory,
but someone forgot to tell Bill Patterson as he
drove past Farr in the middle stages of the event,
which caught Farr by surprise. Farr shadowed Patterson
briefly and then became a man on a mission, hammering
his Can-Am in the closing laps to take the lead
                                and eventual victory.

Angel Knox quickly charged into the lead | “We were cruising at the beginning, but we got
into some lappers, tried a different line and
ended up hitting a tree,” added Farr. “Our muffler
fell off early in the race, and I didn’t hear
Bill behind me. He went by us and it was on. We
were battling hard; it was pretty awesome. The
Can-Am was great, though. I got really tight on
him in the woods and we got into a section where
we had to choose a better line. I just stood on
it, I stayed with a tight line and I just barely
squeaked by him. From there I just hit it hard.” With two victories and two additional podiums,
Farr finished out the GNNCC season third in championship
points in the XC1 Pro UTV class.

                                       Houser Racing's
Tim Farr lost the lead briefly, but he
was able to regain it before the checkered
flag to secure the win, which was his
third straight at the Ironman GNCC season
finale | “We finally pulled it off in the end,” said Farr.
“It was nice to win the last race, come in here
and cap off the season with a win. The Can-Am
was phenomenal today. I ran it hard and did some
things with it I normally wouldn’t, but it held
together.” Bikeman Performance’s Bill Patterson, running
a three-year-old Polaris XP 900, took his hat
off to Farr. He battled hard in the open sections
of the circuit, but Farr’s mastery of the woods
sections here, put him on top in the end.

took over the lead heading into the final
lap with Tim Farr in chase | “I’ll tell you: Tim Farr is fast,” said Patterson.
“I’d catch him in some of the fields, but he was
super fast in the woods. I’d make any kind of
mistake, I’d come up on a lapper and he went past.
The car was really running on rails today.” |
