2015 New East EDT
Round 8 - Freedom Speedway

Delevan, NY (9/10/2015) - The 2015 New East Extreme Dirt Track series came to a close this past weekend at Freedom Speedway just South of Delevan, New York for their final round of racing. Round eight, technically round three, of the series saw yet again saw another new Pro class winner, this time in the form of Justin Frindt, a racer who knows the NE EDT very well and has been a strong racer but has yet to win a Pro class main event. With Frindt winning the Pro class, that makes for six different winners so far this season and has been a roller coaster for the points chase!

The Pro-Am class was headed up by Chuckie Creech with a win, but the big story for him and the CCR team was the final Pro race which allowed him to wrap up his first-ever Pro championship in the series!

The Pro-Lites class also saw a great battle with the championship on the line with the overall win going to Nate Dawydko, his first-ever Pro-Lite championship as well.

TSI Competition Engines / Xtreme Custom Coatings / Frindt Fabrication’s Justin Frindt had an amazing run on his hands, as soon as the light turned green. Frindt launched off the line and was neck-and-neck with CCR’s Chuckie Creech going into the holeshot. Creech was just barely edged out by Frindt rounding the first bend and was sent spinning out of control as Frindt took off with the lead. It was full-throttle ahead for Frindt as he ticked away the laps aboard his KFX450, the only Kawasaki in the field. It was close battling for the front runners from first through fourth place but with a ton of speed and making zero mistakes, Frindt was able to hold on his lead for every lap all the way until the checkered flag flew.

#6 Justin Frindt edged out #25 Chuckie Creech for the Pro Main Holeshot

“This pro win was a huge success for me. I've been battling all these Hondas all year, but my Kawasaki KFX450, with Hoosier tires, grabbed the holeshot, and I never looked back. I knew Ace was right on my tail, so I stayed calm and did my best to make no mistakes, which led me to the checkered flag. I am so, so pumped to be up here on the top of the podium, I don’t even know what to think about it, but I plan on being up here more often. Huge shout out to my mechanic, Barry Frindt, from Frindt Racing for always having my bike prepped and ready to hit the track. I'd also like to thank my family, my girlfriend, and my daughter. TSI Competition Engines, Xtreme Custom Coatings, and Frindt Fabrications for all their 2015 support,” said Frindt on the podium.
