Canadian riders Philippe Bellerose
and Bobby Desjardins would also be pressuring
each other. Dave Larochelle would pull over mid
moto in the holeshot area with problems and would
end up receiving a DNF for moto two. Haavisto
would end up getting ahead of Meyer towards the
end of the moto and would head for Plante. Plante's
bike would begin to smoke, but that never stopped
him from finishing. Connell would be running a
solid moto until he hit a huge rock and his chain
fell off, sending him towards the back.

Creamer would lead holeshot to finish in moto
two to take first. Morello would take the second,
while Pilotte came in third. Arno would finish
fourth, and Plante in fifth. Josh Creamer's
1-1 finishes would give him the first place
on the podium for Round 11 of NEATV. Mike Pilotte
would take the second place with 3-3 finishes
and Rocco Arno Jr. would take the third position
on the podium with 2-4 finishes.

Even with rough weather for racing, Creamer came
out on top again, “nasty conditions for
racing on Sunday, but I was focused on winning
and that's what I did. Saturday went well and
I was happy we got one moto done before the weather
got worse.”

2009
NEATV-MX Open Pro Champion, #75 Joe Haavisto
for 2 years in a row |
Kawasaki's Joe Haavisto would take an eighth
overall in the Open Pro class at Walden, which
would give him enough points to take the early
2009 NEATV Open Pro Championship. Joe has been
riding consistent all season, and is still in
the points lead for the Pro-Am class also. He
also won both the Open Pro and Pro-Am champion
titles during the 2008 NEATV season.
There would only be one moto for the Pro-Am class
on Sunday, shortly after the second Open Pro moto,
officials called the race off due to hazardous
conditions. Only 11 Pro-Am riders lined up ready
to race in the mud and it would be DRT Motorsport's
Mike Pilotte who would take the moto one holeshot,
followed by Canada's Jasmin Plante and Kawasaki's
Jason Connell. Southside Polaris's Aaron Meyer
would move into the second position by the second
lap, with Plante moving into third. Rocco Arno
Jr., Nate Morello, Bobby Desjardins, and Joe Haavisto
would battle it behind the leaders.

Mike Pilotte would come out of no where
to take the Pro-Am moto one holeshot |
The
middle section of riders would be extremely
close during Pro-Am |
Morello would make his way ahead of Arno by the
next lap and Haavisto would also get ahead of
Desjardins. Pilotte would still lead up front
and hold that lead until the finish, taking the
first. He would also take the Pro-Am first on
the podium for the weekend, because the first
moto scores would be double counted due to only
having one moto. Plante would take the second
finish and overall, while Connell filled the last
spot on the Pro-Am podium for Walden MX. “I
used to be terrible in the mud until this season.
I have done good every mud race,” said Connell.
Morello rode consistently to take the fourth place,
while Arno would finish in the fifth. Meyer would
face problems towards the end of the moto, "my
gas cap vent tube got clogged with mud and vapor
locked the gas tank," said Aaron, ending
with an 11th overall
