Josh Creamer would make a great showing at Walden

it would be Kawasaki's Joe Haavisto who would
walk away with enough points to wrap-up the 2009
NEATV Open Pro Championship at round 11.

for Round 11 of the New England ATV Series
to take place at Walden MX. Saturday was
gorgeous, but with a steady drizzle all
night, the track turned into a mud pit,
but crews did their best to prepare the

Round 11 of the NEATV Series would host the
BCS Performance 20 Plus 1 Event. Youth first
motos and a Pro qualifier were scheduled for
Saturday after an open practice. Everyone was
scheduled to race on Sunday and the kids would
complete their second moto. Due to threats of
rain for Sunday, all youth motos would end up
being be run on Saturday, along with the first
                                  Open Pro moto.

Moto one, Canada's Jasmin Plante would

The Open Pro class would start lining up around
4pm for their first moto. Josh Creamer has swept
the last two rounds of the NEATV Series in the
Open Pro and Pro-Am classes, but with last gate
pick for moto one, he would find himself working
hard to get up front. Canada's Jasmin Plante would
take the holeshot in the first Open Pro moto,
earning the ATVRiders.com moto one holeshot award.
BCS Performance rider Matt Pomeroy and DRT Motorsport's
Mike Pilotte would take the second and third spots
                                out of the holeshot.

Creamer would make his way up to the third
position by the second lap, with Plante and
Pilotte battling for the first ahead of him.
He would make the pass for first by the third
lap, making the pass on Plante over the finish
line spectator jump. Kawasaki's Rocco Arno Jr.
would run a solid moto, getting up front in
the holeshot and staying consistent to take
the second position behind Creamer in moto one.
Pilotte was in second, when he flipped his bike
in the back section of the track, sending him
behind, but he would work his way back up to
third and start to challenge Plante for the
second spot. It would come down to one of the
last turns before the finish when Pilotte would
make his move and squeeze into the turn forcing
Plante off the track. Plante would still finish
in fourth, and Pilotte would take the third.
Josh Creamer would go on to take the first for
                                  moto one.

Mike Pilotte were getting extremely close,
until Pilotte squeezed in front to take

Jason Connell and #75 Joe Haavisto battled
during the last lap, when the two got
stuck together in the back of the track |
