Motoworks'
Dillon Zimmerman secures his 4th straight
win of the season |
In the Pro-am class, Can-Am MotoWorks’ Dillon
Zimmerman continued to dominate. Zimmerman was fifth
off the line and had his work cut out for him to
get to the front. Zimmerman put his head down and
began to pick off the competition until reaching
leader David Haagsma. “I caught up to Haagsma
about halfway through the race and battled with
him for a little while,” said Zimmerman. Once
Zimmerman was able to make the pass stick, he began
to pull away to take his fourth straight win of
the season.
David Haagsman finished his day in a respectable
second and maintains second in the Pro-am points
race. Javier Robles, Jr. looked smooth and claimed
the number three spot on the podium. MotoWorks’
Gilbert Flores was looking good in fourth place
and Keith Johnson rounded out the top five.
In the Women’s A class, Tammy Balser claimed
her fourth straight win and continues to dominate
the points race. Team MCR’s Julie Russell
put in a strong effort to take the second spot
on the podium while Bakersfield, CA racer, Samantha
Lopez finished in third.
In the UTV1 class, Mark Holz of Holz Racing took
the win, while Doug Eichner claimed the win in
the UTV2 class and Jeff Stambaugh made a charge
from the back of the UTV3 to take the win.

Round number five will head to Washington State,
where a change in venue and date will have Riverdale
Raceway in Toutle, WA hosting the series on June
5th-7th. This is the first time the series has
been to Riverdale since 2007, and many changes
have been made to the course since then, so there
should be interesting for racers as well as spectators
