GBC's
Jarrod McClure had the 2nd Quickest laptime
of the race, but a rock in his front rotor
kept him off the Podium with a 4th place
finish & less than 9 seconds behind
Baue Baron |
GBC/ATVRiders.com backed racer, Jarrod McClure,
made a hard charge all the way from the back of
the pack to take a fourth place finish. McClure
was pinched out on the start and was only in 15th
place, but he put his head down and began picking
off riders until he reached the number four spot.
Unfortunately, McClure ran into some trouble
that sent him back. “I got a rock stuck
between my caliper and tire and had to stop and
get off the bike to fix it,” he said. McClure
didn’t hesitate to start working his way
back up and was soon in fifth place behind Can-Am
Motoworks’ Josh Frederick. Although Frederick
put up a fight, McClure was able to slip past
him in the final lap to take a fourth place finish.

#1
Josh Frederick wasn't 100% as he continues
to walk with a limp, but he still managed
to secure a 5th place finish, which still
has him within striking distance of Beau
Baron for the championship
|
Josh Frederick, who was still not feeling 100%
looked strong and consistent, as he was able to
maintain a top five position. “My leg is
still a little sore, but I really wanted to get
back out here and race again. I knew I needed
to salvage some points so I came out here and
did my best and I’m hoping to do even better
at the two remaining rounds,” said Frederick
positively.

MCR’s Josh Row in seventh. John Shafe rode
consistently to take an eighth place finish, while
Tim Shelman would follow in ninth and MCR team
