Can-Am Motoworks’ Dillon Zimmerman continued
to prove that not even a serious crash is enough
to hold him back. Zimmerman was second off the
line in the Pro-am Class and quickly took the
lead. Zimmerman held his lead all the way to the
checkered flag, finishing over a minute before
second place’s Mike Kelley, and two minutes
ahead of Joel Garlinghouse who claimed the final
                                spot on the Pro-am podium.
Friday night’s WORCS X race proved to be interesting
as well as seven Pros made it to the final, including
WORCS series promoter, Sean Reddish. Unfortunately
for Reddish, he would suffer mechanical issues due
to the brutal track, which would cause him to DNF.

Zimmerman suffered a serious wreck over
the summer break, but he didn't let it slow

secured the final spot on the Podium behind

Chris Borich would lead the PRO WORCS X race
for four laps until he snapped a chain, which
would allow Beau Baron to take the lead, but that
lead would be short lived as well as Baron would
get hung up on the partially buried van. Baron’s
misfortune would hand the win to Yamaha’s
Dustin Nelson, with Ryan Piplic following in second
                                and Josh Frederick taking third.

25-27. With only two rounds left in the 2009 WORCS
season, the Pro championship could come down to
