DAT’s Kawasaki’s Robbie Mitchell
was looking good as he came up from a mid pack
start and mad the pass on Jarrod McClure in the
final lap to round out the top five for the day.
Jarrod McClure’s sixth place was enough
to secure him seventh place in the points chase
for this season.

Bob's Jarrod McClure had his Yamaha YFZ450
brought out by Chris Borich since he couldn't
get his Honda repaired in time for the race,
and despite running a GNCC setup, he still
managed to secure a 6th place finish with
after a last lap pass by Kawasaki's Robbie
Mitchell to take the 5th spot |
“I’m going to be doing as many of
the WORCS rounds as I can next season,”
stated McClure, who is rumored to be sporting
a new ride with some serious backing for the 2010
GNCC season.

Washington State native Ryan Piplic came on strong
for the final round taking home seventh place
for the day and allowed him to move into the top
ten in points. Can-Am Motoworks’ Dillon
Zimmerman, who wrapped up the Pro-am Championship
at the last round, made the jump to Pro for the
final round of 2009 and claimed the number eight

Chris Borich got off to a top 5 start, and
he was on the move before he experienced
mechanical issues, which sent him to the
pits early, but he hopes to be back again
for some more races in 2010 |

Johnny Gallagher stopped to help fellow
Yamaha racer, Dustin Nelson, early in the
race when Nelson got stuck, which sent Gallagher
back several spots, but he held onto a 11th
place finish in his WORCS debut |
Several east coast riders made the trek out to
Nevada for the season final, including Rockstar
Makita Suzuki’s Chris Borich, who left the
competition in the dust at round six. Unfortunately,
this time Borich’s luck would not hold out
as his engine let go just under 40 minutes into
the race. GNCC racer, Yamaha’s Johnny Gallagher
would fair better as he went on to finish in eleventh
place, while Kawasaki mounted Keith Little would
take twelfth, and Andy Lagzdins would finish in
thirteenth after claiming the Best In the Desert
ATV Expert Class Championship at Primm, Nevada
the day before 2nd place finish with his Christy’s
Racing Team.

Kawasaki's
Keith Little was once again running in the
Top 5 before experiencing a fluke issue,
and this time it was a GT Thunder sprocket
guard that sent him to the pits |

Racing's Andy Lagzdins wrapped the Best
