WORCS Racing ATV Race Report
David Haagsma Wins WORCS Pro ATV Class
Robbie Mitchell came out of the gate in the third
spot, but he dropped back into the last place
before the end of the first lap, but he raced
smart in the heat, and by lap eight, he moved
back up into third, which was his second podium
finish of the season.

“It was ridiculously hot. I figured I would just go out and cruise since it wouldn’t really affect me in points and I made it on the podium. I felt like I kind of threw it away at the last round so I am really happy to be on the podium,” said Mitchell.
With the hot weather being an issue for everyone, racers were pulling out all the stops to try and beat the heat, but no one could top Garrin Fuller for his ingenuity. Fuller had set up a swimming pool in his pit area and hopped off his quad and into the pool to cool down when he stopped to pit. It seemed to do the trick as Fuller was able to hang on for a fourth place finish.
