The dual head lights are a nice
touch to the MXU 500I as well as the front
& rear racks that have a load capacity
of 100 lbs up front & 200 lbs on the
rear |
The MXU 500I also comes standard with dual headlights
and taillights and offers a 12volt power outlet.
The digital instrument gauge was easy to read
and was user friendly.
There is a small storage compartment in the
right front fender and another larger compartment
under the right rear fender, but we wish that
this compartment could be relocated as when
you are out in muddy conditions, the under sides
of the fenders can become quite dirty and the
opening for the compartment gets caked in mud.

We had a great time while out hitting the trails
with the MXU 500I IRS 4x4 and we think it is
a good value oriented machine that is suited
for all around use. Those looking for a serious
value, you can’t beat the new reduced
pricing of the carbureted version of the MXU
500 IRS.
