2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS / UTV Trail Drive Review
We Test Drive the Polaris RZR XP 1000 at the Bryce Canyon Rally

Panguitch, UT (9/24/2013) -  After much anticipation and many rumors in the social sphere depicting an all-new Polaris RZR, Polaris debuted the 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS / UTV. This all-new high-performance SxS / UTV raised the bar in the SxS / UTV market with its impressive combination of power, suspension and handling.

We got a chance to get behind the wheel of the 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS / UTV recently at the 2013 Bryce Canyon Rally in Panguitch, Utah.

While at the rally we got to experience driving the Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS / UTV on the high elevation rocky trails of Southern Utah that truly put the newly released machine to the test.

The 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS features a 999cc engine with 107 horsepower

The 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS / UTV features an all-new ProStar 1000 engine that boasts a true 999cc that produces unmatched torque and throttle response with an impressive 107 horsepower straight from the factory.  Even though we were driving at almost 10,000 feet above sea level, the 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS / UTV performed very well despite driving such high altitudes.

It is said engines will begin to loose up to 30% horsepower because of the thin air, although we did feel a slight drop in acceleration the Polaris RZR XP 1000 still had plenty to power to take us in any direction we pointed the machine.

Even at 10,000 above sea level, the Polaris RZR XP 1000 SxS has plenty of power to navigate the Barney Top Trail in Bryce, Utah

On one particular dirt road we got the Polaris RZR XP 1000 up to 75 MPH and we still felt like the RZR had more to deliver.
