With the addition of electronic power steering, the ride is improved in two ways. The first, of course, is for creating effortless steering. We never experienced any fatigue or arm pump while riding the 2014 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000. Not only does the EPS provide effortless steering, but it also acts as a steering dampener.

The EPS on the Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 helped us from getting arm pump on the very rocky trails at Rock Run Recreation in Pennsylvania |
As we did find many rocky trails, the EPS eliminated any kickback felt through the steering column while navigating rough terrain such as large rocks, tree roots, or down tree logs. Without the EPS we would have felt like we wrestled a bull all day, but that was not the case as we felt we could ride for another 8 hours!
The 2014 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 has very comfortable ergonomics. The plush two-tone gripper seat provides traction to eliminate sliding around. In addition, the seat also features a hump in the rear of the seat that has become very popular among desert racing as well as trail riders. The gas tank was also designed to be narrow giving the rider a sportier feel while riding.
