Kanab, UT (2/6/2015) – After introducing the all-new Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 less than a year ago, Polaris decided to bring over many of the high performance features to the Polaris Sportsman lineup to create the 2015 Polaris Sportsman XP 1000.

The 2015 Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 was designed for experienced riders who want many of same high performance features as the Polaris Scrambler XP 1000, but also want to have the ability to use it as a utility vehicle on the job site, around the farm or for use when hunting. At the heart of the 2015 Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 lies the same powerful ProStar 1000 engine as the Polaris Scrambler XP 1000. The 4-Stroke SOHC Twin Cylinder engine cranks out an impressive 88 horsepower – plenty for both work and play.

We had a chance to ride the 2015 Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 at the Hog Canyon OHV Area just outside Zion National Park near Kanab, Utah.

Although the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 doesn’t quite have the same hard-hitting acceleration as the Polaris Scrambler XP 1000, it still can get-it-and-go.

All though the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 is a utility ATV, it still has plenty of power to get-up-and-go!
