Arctic Cat Wildcat lineup SxS / UTV features tie down hooks in the cargo bed for securing loads & adding accessories like a soft top cover easy to install |
For our ride, Arctic Cat added a soft top cargo box cover from their accessory lineup. The soft top cover took less than 5 minutes to install and didn’t require any tools. The soft top cargo box cover provided great protection from the elements.
Our ride was especially dusty, so we were thankful to have that added featured so our photo gear would not get dirty. The soft top cover is available at any Arctic Cat dealer and fits both the Arctic Wildcat 1000 and Wildcat 4 1000 SxS / UTV.

Yoshimura's John Haskell lead our convoy of Arctic Cat Wildcat SxS / UTV's on the very scenic El Paso Sub Region Trail that features many elevation changes & rugged terrain |
After we got loaded up in the 2013 Arctic Cat Wildcat 4 1000 SxS / UTV, we hit the El Paso Sub Region trail with Yoshimura’s John Haskell leading the drive through the desert. Once we were out on the trail we could immediately tell that the throttle response drastically increased from the previous standard Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 HO SxS / UTV.

Even fully loaded the all-new 2013 Arctic Cat Wildcat 4 1000 SxS / UTV has plenty of power throughout the RPM range thanks to its new Team Industries Rapid Clutch System |
The original Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000, although it was capable of high speeds, took awhile to get up to speed, and if you let off the throttle to slow down for a turn or while climbing a hill there would be some lag before the power picked back up. For 2013, Arctic Cat collaborated with Team Industries, who is known for high quality ATV & SxS / UTV drive train and clutch components, to redesign the clutch and drive train assembly.
