We were very impressed with the braking on the Wildcat 4 and we have hopes that Arctic Cat will put the same braking system on the two seat Wildcat 1000 SxS / UTV. There is good news for those Wildcat owners who want to use the new twin piston braking system. Previous Wildcat owners can outfit their Wildcat with the new dual piston braking system by purchasing the 2013 Wildcat 4 1000 SxS / UTV front spindles and dual-piston calipers.

We got a chance to ride along in the rear seats of the 2013 Arctic Cat Wildcat 4 1000 SxS / UTV to see what it was like to be a passenger. We were surprised how comfortable the rear seating is. The seats are elevated slightly to have a better line of site and offer a good amount of leg room.
Arctic Cat designed the rear seats with 2 cup holders, 12v outlet for charging your cell phone or other accessories. The Wildcat 4 1000 SxS / UTV also features a large hand hold bar that has a bend behind both seats to have different options on where you want to hold on. Arctic Cat also used the same slam latch design doors as the original Wildcat SxS / UTV.

We felt that the rear seating was very easy to get in-and-out and had plenty of legroom for any size passenger. One thing however we would like to see changed is the seat belt mount location. We found the seat belt has a tendency to rub to your neck, but this can be easily fixed by adding a pad to the stock seat belts.
Another new addition to the Wild Cat lineup is a new front passenger hand hold located near the center console. We were glad to see this added because without it, it left us searching for something to hold onto with our left hand.

Overall we were impressed with the 2013 Arctic Cat Wildcat 4 1000 SxS / UTV. We were happy to see the new Team Industries Rapid Response clutch system added to the Wildcat 4. The new clutch system has done a world of a difference to the overall power of the machine. In addition, the added seating in the Wildcat 4 SxS / UTV is very comfortable and have plenty of legroom which is perfect for the family or friends. We hope to see some of the added performance and other features to the entire Arctic Cat Wildcat lineup.
